Salieri's "Prima La Musica"
Antonio Salieri and Mozart both wrote comic operas for a competition in Vienna’s Schönbrunn Palace. Which work was better? Many thought Salieri’s. At 6:30, enjoy fine wine, finger food and opera amid the Versailles-inspired Baroque splendor of one of Pittsburgh’s finest homes. At 7:30, judge Salieri's tour-de-force in Opera Theater's English-language Salon Series production.

This exhibition highlights fiber and mixed media quilts created by Missouri artist Kim Eichler-Messmer.  Eichler-Messmer uses many different surface treatments and quilting techniques including screen-printing, appliqué, discharge and embroidery.
