2008 Marked the 20th Anniversary of the Dominion VITA (Volunteer in the Arts) Awards!
WQED and Dominion are proud to partner to celebrate this milestone. Together, we hosted a special 20th Anniversary celebration in September 2008 where all past VITA recipients were honored. Talisa Barnes, a Pittsburgh native, has lived in Washington, D.C. and Maryland. Returning to Pittsburgh during high school, Barnes earned her diploma from Peters Township High School. Barnes is currently working towards her Associate's Degree in Nursing at Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC).

Corranda Y. Cain moved to Pittsburgh and attended Oliver High School. She graduated with a 3.4 GPA and is currently in her first year at the Bradford School majoring in computer programming. Cain plans to obtain her bachelor's and master's degrees at Robert Morris University.
Riccubono (Ricco) Cobia attended Benjamin Franklin High School in Philadelphia through the 11th grade. Cobia is currently a senior at Mt. Lebanon High School. He hopes to attend the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) or University of Southern California (USC).
Kemar Anthony Leamy, born in Jamaica, came to the United States at age seven. A graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School, Leamy majors in sports management and marketing at California University of Pennsylvania. He hopes to be a market analyst for a sports apparel company or an athletic director.
