Ambroise Thomas: Hamlet, starring baritone Simon Keenlyside in the title role of the Prince of Denmark, and soprano Marlis Peterson as Ophelia. Peterson and Keenlyside bring their extraordinary acting and singing skills to two of Shakespeare's most unforgettable characters. Mezzo-soprano Jennifer Larmore plays Queen Gertrude, Hamlet's mother. Louis Langrée conducts.
